What sizes of storage units do you have available?

We have a wide variety of sizes of units.  For our current availability please call or text us at 920-734-1265.

Do you offer storage unit insurance?

Yes. Call us for more information.

How long do I have to sign a storage rental agreement for?

We require a 2 month minimum stay that you pay for at move in along with your $70 security deposit.  Your first month’s rent is pro-rated. After your first month you pay for each month you need a storage unit on the 1st of the month.

How do I sign up for a storage unit?

Getting your self storage unit is easy.  The process takes about 10 minutes and is done using an online system.  Please call or text us at 920-734-1265, or send us an email via the Contact tab for our current availability and to start the rental process.

Do I need to provide a lock?

No. We provide the lock and two keys.

When can I access my storage unit?

Our facilities in Neenah, Appleton and Little Chute are accessible 24/7.  Our Oshkosh facility is secured overnight with a locked gate.  Current gate are posted at the facility.

What can I do to properly store items in my storage unit?

We recommend that any items you place in your unit that can absorb moisture are placed on pallets.  Storage units have concrete floors and can ‘sweat’ when the weather changes in Wisconsin. Air movement underneath these items is the best way to protect them. If you would like to control the temperature and humidity of your stored items we recommend our climate controlled units. More storage tips can be found here.

So you charge an application fee?

No

I have a small business. Can I store items at your facility?

Yes. We have many businesses that use our facility for storage.

What kind of documentation do I need to rent storage?

A drivers license or identification is all that is required.  An email address is preferred and allows you to take advantage of our online rental process.  If you are storing a vehicle please read the question listed below.

Can I store a car in your storage units?

Yes you can. If a tenant were to abandon a vehicle it is a difficult process for us to remove the vehicle without a copy of the registration. For this reason we require a copy of the registration to be on file.

What happens if I lose the key to my storage unit?

We can get you a new key for your unit in the event that you lose it. There is a fee for a lost key.

How can I pay my rent and what payment types do you accept?

We accept cash, checks or credit card payments. We have a drop box at our office for your convenience or you can pay online 24/7 with a credit card. We can also automatically charge your credit card or deduct from your bank account each month. You can pay your bill online here.

Are there lights or outlets in the storage unit?

We have a few storage units with lights and outlets at some of our locations. Please call to inquire. The majority of our units do not have electric inside them.

How do I cancel my storage unit agreement?

We require 30 days notice when you would like to vacate your storage unit. The last month of your rental is not pro-rated.

Can I share access to the space with my family and co-workers?

The person who signed the agreement is responsible for the unit.  While you can allow others access to your unit we do expect anyone using our facilities to follow our facility rules and policies.

Can a delivery driver drop items at my unit if I am not there?

No.  We will not facilitate or receive packages for customers and units should remain locked at all times when you are not loading or unloading.

Do you ever auction off storage units that tenants abandon?

Yes we do. Go to https://bid13.com to sign up to receive notification when we have storage unit auctions. If you love these auctions you are probably a fan of Storage Wars!

Do you do anything to control spiders and mice?

Our facilities are sprayed several times a year for creepy crawlies. Do all storage unit facilities spray for spiders? No they don’t. We also have bait stations for rodents installed at all of our sites. Wil-Kil Pest Control takes care of our facilities.
